As a Yanmar representative, we are responsible for the supply of spare parts, technical support and application advice for Yanmar industrial engines in Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
From 8 March to 18 March 2022, we held the customer course for Yanmar diagnostics at our premises in Bergdietikon. The one-day refresher courses and two-day basic courses were attended by around 50 customers, where they gained extensive knowledge about Yanmar diagnostics. In the morning there was a theory part, and in the afternoon the participants practised what they had learned. All participants received a certificate entitling them to use the Yanmar diagnostic tool.
The course included the following topics:
Overview of the engine series
Adjustment and control of the engine timing
Basics, function and troubleshooting using "Smartassist-Direct" (SA-D) diagnostic tools
Overview of Tier IV final engines
Function, service and maintenance of particulate filters for systems up to 56 kW

Martin Rüttimann, course leader at Paul Forrer AG says: "I am very happy to share my knowledge and experience with the customers.
