The design department of mwn GmbH in Wolfwil (SO) has developed a mobile cable pulling system at the request of a customer. For the implementation of this project, our specialists in hydraulics and electrohydraulics combined their knowledge with mwn GmbH. Various components such as a Yanmar diesel engine, CAN bus radio remote control, mwn steel construction and some hydraulic components were installed.
With the mobile solution of the cable pulling system, old electric cables, for example, can be pulled out of their protective sheaths and wound up on the cable drum at the same time. This way, they are transported unpolluted to the recycling yard and disassembled into their components.
